"Imagine Transportation"
Community Feedback Form – Help Guide

If you're unsure how to fill out the response form, or if you are confused why you were asked to give feedback, then you've come to the right place. In the short video below, let Allegheny Conference's Bill Flanagan walk you through what this transportation vision crowdsourcing initiative is all about.

Frequently Asked Questions:

  1. I don't know anything about transportation, why are you asking me?

Everyone is a transportation expert in their own way because they use it every day. The RTA wants to understand how the system could work better for you business, organization, employees, or the clients you serve. For examples, if you are serving the elderly or the homeless, they have specific transportation needs that may not be met by our current system. Or, if you are a business, can you get employees to the workplace and can you get your products to your market?

  2. Do you just want my opinion?

We're interested in the transportation problems that are faced by your organization and/or your clients, not necessarily you as an individual. Your organization was identified as having a unique and important perspective on transportation problems based on who you represent. So ask yourself what would make the biggest difference for the populations you work with?

  3. So can I suggest a new highway or bridge?

Sure, if that would help your constituents! Or a new traffic light, bus route, trail, river access, tunnel, rail line – anything you think would help address the (two) biggest problems that you see.

  4. What if all of my ideas are really big? (Or really small?)

That's ok! Just be sure to explain the problem you are trying to solve.

  5. I'm still not sure. Is there someone I can talk to about this? Yes. Please reach out to Katelyn Haas at khaas@alleghenyconference.org or 412-281-4783 x 1069. She'll be happy to talk you through it.
