Allegheny Conference Says Next Big Challenge Is Sustaining Region's Population and Workforce

The Allegheny Conference marked its 70th anniversary at its Annual Meeting recently at the Carnegie Music Hall in Oakland. Conference leaders highlighted achievements across its 2012-2014 agenda, including almost $10 million in focused investment to strengthen five regional communities. The organization also detailed an ambitious new three-year, three-part agenda focused on People, Economy & Community, and Infrastructure – to advance the 10-county Pittsburgh region.
